Nicht nur meiner Meinung nach, wie man zB in den Kommentaren zum addon lesen kann. Die ganze Geschichte ist einfach zu undurchschaubar, vor allem, wenn man deren Server nutzt. Das habe ich mit Foxmarks schon vermieden und ganz sicher würde ich mit Xmarks auch so verfahren. Aber es hatte ja nicht sein sollen, da nach dem FX-Neustart direkt eine Fehlermeldung kam.

Jedenfalls, die Tage hatte ich ´ne Mail im Postfach:

Hmm, hab´ mich nicht weiter drum gekümmert, hat mich auch nicht groß interessiert.
Heute habe ich dann mal Firefox das Update ausführen lassen: Nix war mehr mit Lesezeichen synchronisieren.

Der chCounter ist so ziemlich der beste Counter, den es gibt, außerdem ist er universell einsetzbar und nicht auf eine bestimmte Software, wie zB WordPress, beschränkt. Man kann ihn auf Webseiten jeder Art nutzen. Allerdings ist mir neulich aufgefallen, daß er Chrome nicht zählt… Dh zählen tut er ihn schon, aber er führt ihn nicht gesondert auf.

Da es auf der Homepage kein Update gab, half ein Blick ins Forum weiter, die dortige Lösung funktioniert tadellos und ist einfach umgesetzt. :)

Übrigens: Wenn man sowieso grade am basteln ist, kann man auch hier mal ‘nen Blick riskieren…

In letzter Zeit kommen hier ‘ne Menge Suchanfragen zu deutschen Versionen von Swiftweasel oder Swiftdove an. Wer daran interessiert ist, braucht nur mal diesen Link besuchen und die passende xpi-Datei zu laden und mit SD/SW öffnen, so wie auch unter Thunderbird oder Firefox.

Nach dem ja Firefox 3 den aufgestellt hat, interessiert mich jetzt mal ein Blick in die Statistiken. Wird der neue Firefox, für den es auch schon das erste Update gab, auch so häufig genutzt, wie er gesaugt wurde?
